Independent Action
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the prana supply from the Master. At the higher ranks it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without a established contract.
(magi can take this for the fighting into the negatives benifit)
A rank: doesnt require a Master, can fight to -20 before considered killed
B rank: can last 6 months without a master, can fight to -15 before considered killed
D rank: can last 3 months without a master, can fight to -10 before considered killed

Magic Resistance
Protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects prana, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Important to note that the term "verse" seen below refers to a set of three lines. Thus, a chant of two verses is equivalent to a Six-Line incantation.

A rank: 3d6 DR vs magic
B rank: 2d4 DR vs magic
D rank: 1d4 DR vs magic

Battle Continuation
Strength of vitality for predicaments. Also, the ability to withdraw from combat and reach allied territory alive after being defeated.

A rank: doesnt take wounded penalties as well as cannot be reduced to less than 1 hp unless struck by a critical hit. gains +3 to escape rolls while under 25% hp
B rank: reduces wounded penalties by 2 and gains a +2 to escape rolls while under 25% hp
D rank: reduces wounded penalties by 1 and gaisn a +1 to escape rolls while under 20% hp

Disengage
The ability to break away from combat.

A rank: +5 to escape rolls
B rank: +3 to escape rolls
D rank: +2 to escape rolls

Eye of the Mind
Heightened insight that was refined through experience.

A rank: +3 to all rolls
B rank: +2 to all rolls
D rank: +1 to all rolls

High-Speed Divine Words
The power to activate Thaumaturgy without the use of Magic Circuits. The language of the Age of Gods, back when words played a heavy role in spellcasting. As such, it is power long lost by modern magi.

A rank: reduce the casting time of any spell to 1 round
B rank: reduce the casting time of any spell by 2(min 1)
D rank: reduce the casting time of any spell by 1(min 1)

Monstrous Strength
An ability possessed by monsters and beasts, temporary boost of the Strength parameter by one rank for a time limit determined by the ranking of this skill.

Note: Bonuses to rolls apply only to rolls made with the Strength statistic. Ergo, these bonuses would not apply if you attempted to defend or attack with Dexterity.

A rank: +2 Attack/Defense/Damage rolls for 1d4+4 rounds
B rank: +2 to Attack/Defense for 1d4+1 rounds
D rank: +2 Attack for 2 rounds

Prana Burst
Increase of performance by impregnating one's weapons and body with magical energy and instantly expelling it. Simply put, recreating the effect of jet burst by expending large amounts of prana.

A: Add up to +4 to a single roll. Cost is 3 mana / +1 roll.
B: Add up to +3 to rolls for 4 mana each
D: Add +2 to a roll for 4 mana.

Protection from (Element)
By some kind of magical charm or inborn resistence to an element

A rank: 3d6 (Element) DR
B rank: 2d4 (Element) DR
D rank: 1d4 (Element) DR
